San Luis Potosí government launches multiple training programs

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona's administration in San Luis Potosí has opened enrollment for several state-sponsored training initiatives. The Instituto Potosino de la Juventud (Inpojuve) announced the “Jóvenes al Volante” driving course for youths aged 15‑17 and adults up to 40, with classes running in August 2026 and a fee of 665 pesos covering road‑safety education and basic mechanics.

Meanwhile, the Instituto de Capacitación para el Trabajo (Icat) released its July course catalog, offering programs in beauty services, manual arts, language learning (English, Japanese) and leadership development. Courses run throughout July, with dates and topics ranging from basic nail application to intermediate Japanese and conscious leadership.

Both efforts aim to improve professional skills, promote safe driving habits, and broaden economic opportunities for residents of the state.
