San Luis Potosí Governor announces support for livestock sector

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona of San Luis Potosí has announced significant financial and material support for the state's livestock sector. During the Feria Nacional Potosina 2026, the Governor pledged 13 million pesos to each livestock union in the state to address priority needs. He indicated that this support could increase to 20 million pesos next year.

Additional measures include the delivery of over 100 tractors and a 26-million-peso program for equipment and machinery through the Secretariat of Agricultural Development and Hydraulic Resources (SEDARH). The state is also investing 120 million pesos in agricultural health actions, including campaigns against bovine tuberculosis, brucellosis, and rabies, in coordination with SENASICA.
