San Luis Potosí Governor calls for faster investigations into Pensiones and Red Metro

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona of San Luis Potosí has called for the acceleration of investigations into the Pensiones and Red Metro cases. He stated that several former officials have yet to testify and noted that approximately 12 case files are pending resolution.

Regarding the Pensiones case, the governor indicated that two additional defendants may face summons or arrest warrants. He also noted that investigations into Red Metro could involve former officials who may require legal orders to appear. Gallardo Cardona requested that the Prosecutor's Office expedite these proceedings to ensure they are completed before the electoral process begins, aiming to prevent the investigations from being perceived as politically motivated.
