San Luis Potosí Governor delivers 42 new patrol vehicles to State Civil Guard

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona has delivered 42 new patrol vehicles to the San Luis Potosí State Civil Guard (GCE) to strengthen regional security. The investment, totaling 41 million pesos, aims to enhance surveillance, prevention, and emergency response capabilities across the state's 59 municipalities.

The new units will be utilized for strategic patrolling, immediate reaction operations, and territorial deployment to increase police presence. Officials noted that the equipment is intended to improve working conditions for officers and provide greater security for families in the four regions of the state.

Governor Gallardo Cardona highlighted that current security strategies, which include investments in technology, intelligence, and training, have contributed to a reduction of over 80 percent in intentional homicides. The administration emphasized continued coordination between the State Civil Guard, the Secretariat of National Defense, the National Guard, and the State Attorney General's Office.
