San Luis Potosí Governor recognized for security coordination

Omar García Harfuch, Mexico’s Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, has publicly recognized San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona for successful security coordination. The recognition follows joint operations targeting federal transport theft along Highway 57.

These collaborative efforts involved the Federal Attorney General's Office, the Criminal Investigation Agency, the federal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, the National Guard, and the State Civil Guard. The operations resulted in the seizure of 30 signal inhibitors, 359 inhibiting antennas, one long firearm, ammunition, chargers, six forklifts, 110 auto parts, 10 vehicles, and 297 pallets of merchandise.

Governor Gallardo stated that the recognition reflects a commitment to continuous work with state and federal authorities to protect families and transport workers traveling through the region.
