Fenapo 2026 kicks off in San Luis Potosí with Guanajuato as guest of honor
The 2026 Feria Nacional Potosina (Fenapo) has officially launched in San Luis Potosí, drawing over 150,000 attendees on its first day. The event, which runs from August 7 to August 30, is expected to attract more than 9 million visitors and generate an economic impact of over 6.5 billion pesos.
Guanajuato is participating as the Guest of Honor, featuring a specialized pavilion representing 22 companies across sectors such as agro-food, leather, and textiles, with an investment of 1.5 million pesos. During the inauguration, Guanajuato Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo recognized San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona as a strategic regional ally, highlighting bilateral cooperation in security, tourism, and economic development.
