San Luis Potosí graduates six visually impaired students in inclusive education ceremony

Six students of the Instituto Estatal de Ciegos (IEC) completed their academic training in a ceremony organized by the State System for Integral Family Development (DIF). The graduation was highlighted as part of Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona’s plan to broaden opportunities for people with disabilities and promote inclusive education in San Luis Potosí.

Virginia Zúñiga Maldonado, general director of the DIF, said each academic achievement opens new possibilities for the visually impaired, emphasizing the role of families and teachers in supporting the graduates’ autonomy and personal development.
