San Luis Potosí launches tourism benefits for retired teachers

The government of San Luis Potosí has launched the ‘Magisterio sin Límites’ tourism card, a new initiative designed to provide benefits to retired teachers in the state. Through a collaboration between the Secretariat of Education (SEGE) and the Secretariat of Tourism (Sectur), the program offers special discounts and promotions at hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, and various tourist sites across the state's four regions.

Education Secretary Deysi Maribel López Sierra stated that the card can be processed at SEGE offices by presenting official documentation proving retired status. Tourism Secretary Yolanda Josefina Cepeda Echavarria noted that the initiative aims to allow educators to enjoy the region's cultural and gastronomic wealth while encouraging tourism during off-peak seasons.
