In addition to leading its region in wage increases, the state ranked eighth nationally for remuneration growth. San Luis Potosí also secured the first position in the Centro-Bajío region for paid jobs and ranked 11th across the country in that category. Mario García Valdez, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDECO), attributed these indicators to increased industrial activity, incoming investments, and the generation of new employment opportunities.
