San Luis Potosí legislature launches AI forums and city approves incentives for entrepreneurs and single mothers

State Deputy Héctor Serrano Cortés of the San Luis Potosí Congress called on citizens, specialists, journalists and civil‑society groups to join upcoming forums aimed at reviewing and regulating the use of artificial intelligence. He emphasized an open process, inviting proposals and observations to build a balanced legal framework for the technology.

The municipal council of San Luis Potosí city voted unanimously to adopt the operating rules of a Fiscal Stimulus Program for priority groups, including single mothers, young entrepreneurs and initiatives promoting circular economies. Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos highlighted the program’s role in supporting those most in need, while the council also approved municipal awards and a designated day to recognize market vendors.
