San Luis Potosí mayor provides security for Fenapo fair

Enrique Galindo Ceballos, the mayor of San Luis Potosí, stated that the municipal government is providing security for the Fenapo fair despite not receiving a formal invitation to participate in the ‘Día de la Garnacha’ festivities.

Galindo noted that while the municipality is not part of the event's organization, it remains committed to public safety because any incidents occurring within the city affect its reputation. He expressed that the city would be willing to participate in food distribution if notified in advance, but currently, the municipal government is focusing on its role as a host to thousands of visitors and ensuring the safety of the local economy.
