San Luis Potosí political leaders cite central control as mayor launches city drainage works

State party leader Rita Ozalia Rodríguez of Morena said the future of San Luis Potosí's politics is decided in Mexico City, acknowledging no dialogue with the Green Ecologist Party and warning that any coalition would exclude the governor's wife, Ruth González Silva.

Municipal president Enrique Galindo Ceballos reported that the city’s permanent desazolve program has addressed more than 60 neighborhoods, adding that new hydraulic infrastructure, pavement and water‑supply projects will begin this week, especially in the eastern part of the city where runoff is most problematic. He said, “Hemos atendido más de 60 colonias y seguimos haciéndolo,” and pledged daily work on drainage and water intake installations.
