San Luis Potosí prepares for 2027 electoral process
The San Luis Potosí state government is establishing conditions to ensure social peace and stability for the 2027 electoral process. The local electoral cycle is scheduled to begin on November 15.
Secretary General of Government, J. Guadalupe Torres Sánchez, stated that the administration is committed to maintaining governability through dialogue with political parties and social actors. The state aims to coordinate a joint agenda with the National Electoral Institute (INE), the State Electoral and Citizen Participation Council (CEEPAC), and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Electoral Crimes.
To ensure the proper use of public resources, the state has developed an action plan and a manual for public officials. This manual outlines current legal provisions and establishes deadlines for suspending the mass promotion and delivery of social programs to comply with electoral regulations.
