San Luis Potosí provides vocational training for individuals in rehabilitation

The Institute for Work Training of the State of San Luis Potosí (Icat) has provided vocational training to individuals undergoing rehabilitation processes. Through a collaboration with the Red de Clínicas Unidas del Potosí, participants completed courses in pastry making, hairstyling, and barbering to facilitate social reintegration and economic independence.

In Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, the Specialized Unit for the Attention to Family and Gender Violence (UAVI) of the Municipal Civil Guard also supported vulnerable youth in overcoming addiction through similar vocational paths. These efforts, involving inter-institutional coordination, aim to provide tools for entrepreneurship and formal employment to help individuals build new life projects.
