San Luis Potosí Seduvop unveils traffic changes for Family Bridge and industrial zone upgrades

The Secretaría de Desarrollo Urbano, Vivienda y Obras Públicas (Seduvop) announced temporary traffic modifications on avenue Sierra Vista and Circuito Potosí as construction of the Family Bridge begins next week. Drivers are directed to use alternate routes via Eugenio Garza Sada to reach Plaza San Luis, Lomas del Tec, Salvador Nava and Plaza Tangamanga, while a side lane will be prepared to add an extra lane and keep commercial access open.

Seduvop also said it will soon present a new package of works for the industrial zone of San Luis Potosí. The plan includes rehabilitating the severely deteriorated CFE Avenue and completing the lateral of Highway 57, which is 65‑70 % finished with earthworks, base layers and asphalt paving. Both initiatives aim to improve connectivity and reduce congestion in the city’s main industrial and commuter corridors.
