San Marco d’Alunzio receives preliminary General Urban Plan documents

The municipality of San Marco d’Alunzio has received the preliminary documents for its General Urban Plan (PUG), formerly known as the General Regulatory Plan. The documents were delivered by urban planner Professor Andrea Marcel Pidalà.

Mayor Filippo Miracola described the delivery as a significant step toward renewing the municipal territory's urban planning. The process follows Regional Law 19/2020 and Implementing Decree 116/2021, which aim to establish the plan as a strategic and structural design tool for the territory. The next phase involves the activation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (VAS) by the procedure's sole manager, engineer Calogerino Indriolo.
