San Marco in Lamis launches free job‑skills lab for unemployed on Aug 4
The municipality of San Marco in Lamis, in the Puglia region of Italy, is holding a free orientation lab on August 4 as part of the “Punti Cardinali – Orienta in Progress” project, organized with the cooperative Medtraining.
The session, titled “Development of skills for employability,” runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the municipal library on Piazza Carlo Marx and is aimed at unemployed, inactive, long‑term job‑seekers, migrants and other vulnerable groups. Participants receive practical activities, simulations and group work to identify labour‑market requirements and build job‑search tools. Registration is free via email to punticardinali@reteoltre.it.
Organizers say the aim is “L’obiettivo è quello di valorizzare il capitale umano del territorio attraverso percorsi finalizzati al rafforzamento delle competenze personali, trasversali e professionali dei partecipanti.” The initiative is funded under the Regional Programme Puglia FESR‑FSE+ 2021‑2027, Action 5.1 “Interventions for employment,” with the municipality acting as lead partner alongside Euromediterranea, Cantieri di Innovazione Sociale, Associazione Impegno Donna, the social cooperative Clarissa and others.
