San Marcos de Arica Deportes Iquique Primera B classic Orellana suspension appeal TNT Sports broadcast

San Marcos de Arica, currently third in the Primera B table with 28 points, will host Deportes Iquique, who sit thirteenth with 16 points, in the northern classic on 31 July 2026 at 20:30. The match will be played at Estadio Carlos Dittborn in Arica and broadcast live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Deportes Iquique coach Hernán Peña discussed the squad’s readiness, noting the suspensions of midfielder Diego Orellana and forward Joaquín Pereyra and confirming the club’s search for a third offensive signing. Peña stressed that the team must approach the fixture with the same confidence as previous games.

San Marcos coach Iván Sandrock highlighted the club’s recent 2‑0 victory over Magallanes and underlined the importance of arriving in good form for the classic. The club also noted the contrast in league positions and the emotional stakes of the encounter.

Deportes Iquique will appeal Orellana’s fifth yellow‑card suspension to the Tribunal de Disciplina; if the appeal succeeds, the player will be eligible to play in the match. The match officials will be referee Cristian Galaz with assistants Sergio Lagos and Jorge González.
