San Marcos University to host XIII International Primavera Poética Festival

The Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) will host the XIII International Primavera Poética Festival 2026. The event, held at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, will feature 16 international poets.

Chilean writer Raúl Zurita, a recipient of the National Literature Prize of Chile and the 2020 Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry, will be a featured guest. Zurita is expected to receive the ‘Poeta de América’ distinction. Other participating poets include Sonia Manzano from Ecuador, Gabriel Chávez Casazola from Bolivia, Yolanda Castaño from Spain, and Hugo Francisco Rivella from Argentina.
