San Marino ICT Association announces leadership transition

The Board of Directors of the Associazione Sammarinese per l’Informatica (ASI) has announced a temporary leadership transition. President William Casali will pass his functions to Vice President Luca Gentilini as Casali assumes the role of Captain Regent of the Republic of San Marino for the term spanning October 1, 2026, to April 1, 2027.

The ASI reported steady growth in its membership, highlighting the increasing importance of the ICT sector to San Marino’s economic development, competitiveness, and innovation. The association also expressed its intent to strengthen collaboration with San Marino Innovation, potentially through a future Memorandum of Understanding to align their goals for the national innovation ecosystem.
