San Marino Innovation opens applications for Startup World Cup 2026

San Marino Innovation, in collaboration with Silicon Valley venture capital firm Pegasus Tech Ventures, has opened applications for the Startup World Cup – San Marino Regional 2026. The competition is designed to provide local entrepreneurs with an international platform to showcase their projects.

The regional final is scheduled for October 15, 2026, at the Kursaal Congress Center. Ten selected startups will pitch their projects in English to a jury of international experts and investors. The winner of the San Marino stage will advance to the global semifinals in San Francisco on November 4, 2026, competing for a chance to reach the Grand Finale on November 6.

The global winner of the Startup World Cup receives a $1 million investment prize. Eligibility for the San Marino regional stage is limited to startups established in the Republic of San Marino, Emilia-Romagna, and Marche. Applications must be submitted by September 13, 2026.
