San Marino national football team earns promotion to League C

The San Marino national football team has achieved a historic milestone by securing promotion to League C of the Nations League. Despite being one of the smallest nations in the world, the team recorded two victories and one draw in six matches to reach this goal.

A key moment in their campaign was an away victory against Liechtenstein, which included a goal by Alessandro Golinucci. Golinucci, who serves as the team captain, balances his football career with a full-time job at a company selling car wash brushes.

The team's success marks a significant shift in mentality and recognition for the squad as they prepare for upcoming challenges against opponents such as Belarus, Albania, and Finland.
