San Marino organizations expand cultural and sporting initiatives

The Sammarinese Historical Games Association is celebrating 28 years of promoting culture through tabletop games, board games, and historical simulations. Led by President Gian Carlo Ceccoli, the association meets weekly in Dogana and includes the medieval reenactment group ‘I Barattieri’. Its flagship event, the San Marino Game Convention, has become an international reference point for enthusiasts, featuring tournaments, exhibitions, and historical conferences.

In the sporting sector, the Sammarinese Winter Sports Federation has initiated a collaboration with Grenoble and Chamrousse, France. Federation President Gian Luca Gatti and Secretary General Bruno Guidi visited the French alpine locations to establish ties with Sammarinese residents living abroad. The initiative aims to create opportunities for training, technical activities, and competitions within the alpine region to support the development of Sammarinese winter athletes.
