San Marino short film selected for Livorno horror festival

The Sammarinese short film ‘Il patto di Agata’, directed by Alessio Petrillo and produced by Arkadia Studios, has been selected for the official competition at the Fi-Pi-Li Horror Festival in Livorno this October.

Following a win for Best Short Film in the Emilia-Romagna Filmmakers category at the Nòt Film Fest in Santarcangelo di Romagna, the film will compete for the Federico Frusciante Award. The production, which blends horror, mystery, and local folklore, was filmed across the forests and scenic locations of San Marino.

The project is supported by the Sammarinese State Secretariats for Tourism, Territory, and Education and Culture. It serves as part of a strategic ‘cineturismo’ initiative aimed at using audiovisual productions to showcase San Marino’s landscapes and attract new tourists through film-related travel.
