San Martino wins the 2026 Palio di Fermo

The Contrada San Martino won the 2026 Palio di Fermo with the horse Dori Fortuna, ridden by jockey Gavino Sanna. This victory marks the first time the Contrada has won the Palio in 24 years.

Local officials, including the Prefect of Fermo, Edoardo D’Alascio, and Mayor Alberto Maria Scarfini, attended the event. D’Alascio noted that the Cavalcata dell’Assunta serves as a symbol of identity and social inclusion for the city and province.
