Emergency services conduct multiple rescues in Spain, Argentina, and Colombia

Various emergency services across South America and Europe have conducted multiple rescue operations involving hikers, elderly individuals, and people caught in natural hazards.

In Spain, the Guardia Civil's GREIM conducted seven separate rescues in the Pyrenees of Huesca. These included evacuating climbers with injuries, assisting a hiker suffering a possible heart attack, and rescuing a 78-year-old woman who slipped down a slope in Canfranc.

In Argentina, several successful operations were reported. In San Martín de los Andes, a 90-year-old man was rescued from the slopes of Mount Curruhuinca after becoming disoriented while herding animals. In the Moreno department, an 83-year-old woman was located using thermal drones and K-9 units after getting lost in dense vegetation. Additionally, a man and a dog were rescued from a water channel in Santa Lucía.

In Colombia, a police officer rescued a 26-year-old woman who fell into the San Alberto River during a period of rising water levels in the Cesar department.
