Avanza País leads municipal election results in San Martín

In the San Martín region of Peru, the Avanza País party has emerged as the leading political organization in the municipal elections for the 2027–2030 period. The party secured four provincial mayoralties, winning in the provinces of Rioja, El Dorado, San Martín, and Picota.

Other significant results include Alianza Para el Progreso (APP) winning two provincial mayoralties in Moyobamba and Mariscal Cáceres, while Renovación Popular also captured two victories in Bellavista and Huallaga. The remaining provinces were won by Fuerza Popular in Lamas and Perú Primero in Tocache. The electoral landscape in the region shows a distribution of power among five main political organizations.
