Infrastructure and utility maintenance efforts across Argentina
Various regional authorities in Argentina are implementing maintenance and repair works to improve public services. In Córdoba, SAMEEP has restored the Wichí–El Pintado aqueduct and repaired a sewage well in Puerto Tirol to resolve electromechanical failures and prevent flooding.
In La Rioja, the provincial government and the Municipality of Independencia have agreed on works to improve water supply in Patquía, including the recovery of the Tudcum drilling and the implementation of a new pumping system. Additionally, Vialidad Nacional is conducting preventive maintenance on roads in Córdoba to mitigate risks associated with the El Niño phenomenon.
Other local initiatives include sidewalk construction in Lomas de Zamora, road repairs and drainage cleaning in Cipolletti, and the extension of the Line 102 transit route in Rosario.
