San Matteo delle Chiaviche to host Festa dell'Oratorio

The Festa dell'Oratorio will take place in San Matteo delle Chiaviche from September 11 to 21, 2026. Organized by the Parish and the ‘Serafino Ghidini’ Pastoral Unit, the event celebrates the patronal feast of Saint Matthew the Apostle.

The schedule includes a variety of community activities such as card tournaments, musical performances, a circus show by ‘Circus Angels’ from Verona, and a walk organized by Avis-Acli. A public meeting is scheduled for September 16 to discuss the renovation and maintenance project for the oratory.

On the patronal feast day, September 20, events will include a solemn Mass followed by a traditional ‘palo della cuccagna’ climbing activity. Throughout the festival, charity initiatives such as a benefit fishing event and a market will be held to support AISM (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association).
