San Miguel Beermen defeat Terrafirma Dyip 135-105 in PBA Governors’ Cup

The San Miguel Beermen defeated the Terrafirma Dyip 135-105 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Wednesday, rebounding from a previous loss to TNT Tropang Gold. The victory improves San Miguel’s record to 8-3 in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup, keeping them in contention for a top-two finish in Group A.

George King led the scoring with 44 points, including four three-pointers, while adding five rebounds and five assists. June Mar Fajardo recorded a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds, marking his highest scoring performance of the conference. CJ Perez contributed 22 points to the Beermen’s offensive effort.

Terrafirma was led by Justin Strings, who scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Maverick Ahanmisi, who recorded 23 points and nine assists. Despite a competitive first quarter, San Miguel pulled away in the second and third quarters to secure the blowout win.
