Cultural festivals scheduled for San Miguel del Pino and San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel del Pino will host its fourth annual Medieval Days on August 29, 2026. The event, titled “Doña Leonor de Guzmán y su villa de San Miguel del Pino,” focuses on the historical legacy of Leonor de Guzmán, a 14th-century figure and owner of the villa. The program includes historical reenactments such as “Pedro I contra Enrique de Trastámara,” artisanal markets, workshops on medieval weaponry, and activities for children.

In San Miguel de Allende, the municipal government is coordinating the 2026 Patriotic and Patronal Festivals. Spanning from August through October, the celebrations include religious traditions, civic ceremonies, music, and dance. Key events include the Pega de Bando on September 8 and the Cabalgata de los Conspiradores. The city has installed decorative lighting across various communities to support the festivities.
