San Miguel de Allende bullfighting event postponed to 2027

The bullfighting event scheduled for October 23 in San Miguel de Allende has been postponed and rescheduled for 2027. The decision follows a clarification from the San Miguel de Allende Municipal Government, which stated that the event promoted on social media lacked valid municipal authorization.

Redondeles-Casa de Tauromaquia, the company behind the event, noted that the postponement was made in response to a request from the local government. The company expressed its intention to maintain the original lineup, which includes Javier Funtanet, Juan Ortega, and Isaac Fonseca, for the rescheduled date in 2027.

The municipal government has urged citizens and visitors to avoid purchasing tickets through unverified channels and to rely solely on official institutional communications regarding authorized public events.
