San Nicolas UTV accident claims life of 23-year-old woman

A 23-year-old Dutch woman, identified as Kimberly van Ardenne, died following a UTV accident on Grapefieldweg in San Nicolas on Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred around 2:58 PM when the vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned.

Emergency services, including police patrols and ambulance personnel, responded to the scene. Despite immediate medical assistance provided by paramedics, the victim succumbed to her injuries. Forensic doctors officially confirmed the death at the site.

This incident marks the tenth traffic-related fatality recorded in Aruba for the year 2026. Forensic police and traffic specialists are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash. Victim support services have also been activated to assist those affected.
