San Paolo teenager dies after cardiac arrest during football match

A 13-year-old boy from San Paolo, in the province of Brescia, has died following a sudden medical emergency while playing football with friends. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the Cremezzano oratory field, where the teenager suffered a cardiac arrest.

A woman present at the site attempted to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation until emergency responders arrived. The boy was then airlifted in critical condition to the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo. Despite medical efforts, his condition worsened, and he passed away during the night.

The sudden death has deeply affected the communities of San Paolo and Cremezzano. Mayor Alberto Pedretti expressed the administration's profound condolences to the family and the local community.
