San Pedro Cholula announces highway paving project to Coronango

Tonantzin Fernández Díaz, the municipal president of San Pedro Cholula, has announced the commencement of the second stage of paving for the state highway to Coronango. The project specifically targets the section passing through the community of Santa Bárbara Almoloya, an area where residents have reported that the road has not been rehabilitated for nearly three decades.

The project is a collaborative effort between the municipal government and the State Government of Puebla. The state will provide machinery for the works, while the San Pedro Cholula administration will contribute 2 million pesos toward the execution of the project. The rehabilitation is expected to cover more than one kilometer, improving circulation and safety for daily commuters.

Following recent measurements, machinery is expected to arrive on-site by Friday or Saturday to begin the works. This infrastructure improvement aims to strengthen the connection between Santa Bárbara Almoloya and Coronango.
