San Pedro Cholula inaugurates 76th Feria Milenaria
The 76th Feria Milenaria of San Pedro Cholula has officially commenced in Puebla, Mexico. The opening event featured musical performances by Mijares and drew thousands of visitors to the Plaza de la Concordia and the Zócalo to explore gastronomic, commercial, and artisanal corridors.
Prior to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Municipal President Tonantzin Fernández signed sisterhood agreements with several municipalities to promote tourism and cultural exchange. These include Tecali de Herrera, Huauchinango, Xicotepec, and Tehuacán in Puebla, as well as Puerto Morelos in Quintana Roo. Fernández stated that these partnerships aim to strengthen regional ties and celebrate Mexico’s pluricultural identity.
The festival includes a Pavilion of Pueblos Mágicos and is intended to provide a safe, family-oriented environment with diverse activities for residents and tourists.
