San Pedro Cholula job fair opened by mayor Tonantzin Fernández offers thousands of positions
The municipal president of San Pedro Cholula, Tonantzin Fernández, together with Puebla state secretary of Economic Development and Labor Victor Gabriel Chedraui, inaugurated a job fair at the Plaza de la Concordia. The event was organized to stimulate formal employment and revive the local economy.
Participating companies and institutions posted thousands of vacancies with salaries ranging from 9,600 to 32,000 pesos. Attendees were also directed to the Centro Integral de Servicios (CIS) for additional job‑search assistance and information on local labor opportunities. Local officials, including a state deputy and heads of employment agencies, were present to emphasize the joint effort of municipal, state, and federal authorities to improve job access for residents of Puebla.
The fair aims to connect job seekers with formal work contracts and support families throughout the region.
