San Pedro de Colalao Enduro Classic Launches with 249 Riders

The inaugural Classic SPC enduro race began on Saturday in San Pedro de Colalao, Tucumán, Argentina. The opening stage covered a 30‑km technical course and attracted 249 competitors from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Gonzalo Díaz Vélez of Yerba Buena posted the fastest time of 50 minutes 57 seconds, securing the overall lead, while Carolina Yapur dominated the women's category with a time of 1 hour 33 minutes 20 seconds, finishing more than three minutes ahead of the nearest rival.

The event will conclude on Sunday with a decisive 70‑km stage that will determine the first champions of the new Tucumán enduro classic.
