San Pedro Garza García: Armed robbery targets vehicle with large cash sum
Armed individuals carried out a rapid robbery in the Del Valle neighborhood of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, targeting a vehicle shortly after a large cash withdrawal from a nearby bank.
Security footage shows the incident occurring around 15:00 hours near the intersection of Río Tonalá and Río Amacuzac streets. The robbery, which lasted approximately 40 seconds, involved four suspects: two individuals approached the vehicle on foot to threaten the occupants and seize a backpack, while two others waited on motorcycles to facilitate a quick escape.
Initial reports suggested the stolen amount was approximately 4 million pesos, though municipal authorities stated that the actual figure may be lower pending official investigation. As of the latest reports, no suspects have been detained, and authorities are reviewing municipal surveillance footage to determine the escape route used by the perpetrators.
