San Pedro motorcyclists ordered to perform community service for illegal racing
Three motorcyclists in San Pedro, Jujuy, have been ordered to perform community service and complete road safety courses following an investigation into illegal street racing. The individuals, identified as David Cruz, Daniel Rivera, and Carlos Guzmán, were caught participating in unauthorized speed and skill tests on Avenida Perón on July 5, 2025.
Under a probation agreement approved by Judge Juan Ángel Cabezas Hametti and Prosecutor Matías Mora García, the participants must perform community service at the Jujuy Ministry of Health for one month. They are also required to attend driving and road safety courses, maintain updated contact information, and undergo monthly monitoring by the Office of Control of Coercive Measures, Probation, and Penal Execution.
One participant must also complete and provide proof of secondary school studies. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the revocation of the probation and the continuation of the criminal process for the crime of “Participation in speed or skill tests.”
