San Prisco: Man arrested for transporting hazardous waste in seized vehicle

Carabinieri officers arrested a 71-year-old man in San Prisco during an extraordinary patrol aimed at combating environmental crimes in the Terra dei Fuochi area. The individual was operating an Ape Car without a driver's license to transport bulky urban waste and special waste, including potentially hazardous materials such as full gas cylinders.

Investigations revealed that the vehicle used for the transport had already been seized in a previous environmental crime proceeding. By using the vehicle, the man is accused of violating seizure restrictions and breaking seals. The arrest was made on charges including unauthorized waste management and violation of judicial orders.
