San Rafael family launches campaign for medical costs

A 15-year-old from San Rafael is undergoing a solidarity campaign to cover medical expenses following a complex cardiac surgery. The teenager was diagnosed with an unusual ventricular arrhythmia during routine sports exams.

During a five-hour operation at the Mendoza Central Hospital involving an international team of specialists, the patient suffered two cardiac arrests before being stabilized. The family is currently facing a debt of six million pesos to cover the surgical costs and necessary follow-up travel. To assist, a raffle has been organized for October 17 to help manage the financial burden.
