San Rafael municipality implements drainage maintenance and real estate advisory
The Municipality of San Rafael has intensified cleaning operations for ditches, drains, and street bridges to mitigate flooding risks. These efforts, involving municipal crews across the city and its districts, aim to ensure efficient water runoff during a season of heavy rainfall, which has recently exceeded historical October averages. The measures are part of a preventive strategy linked to the ‘Super Niño’ weather phenomenon.
In a separate initiative, the Subsecretaría de Ordenamiento Territorial is providing free technical advisory services to residents considering real estate investments. The program offers access to maps, regulations, and technical information to help citizens verify land documentation, zoning, and the availability of essential services like water, electricity, and gas before purchasing lots or starting projects.
