Iñaki Serrano wins UCI cycling bronze; San Rafael athletes qualify for national games

Cyclist Iñaki Serrano secured a bronze medal in the men's sprint at the UCI C2 track cycling competition held at the new velodrome in Rafaela, Argentina. This marks Serrano's first international medal in the top category. The event, which provided UCI ranking points, saw Mexican cyclist Etan Ñuño Ramírez take first place and Argentine Juan Bautista Rodríguez finish second.

In regional athletics, the San Rafael delegation achieved first place in the general team standings during the provincial stage of the Juegos Sanmartinianos. Eight athletes from the department qualified for the national stage to be held in Mar del Plata. Notable qualifiers include Angelina Pérez Modón, Lupe Fernández, Giuliana Sola, Amparo Martín, Owen Giménez, Santiago Urquiza, Bautista Martínez, and Benjamín Cuell Cortez.
