San Ramon Valley Unified School District moves into new headquarters

The San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) has completed its relocation to a new headquarters at the Canyon Commons Corporate Plaza in San Ramon. The district acquired the four-story building at 3130 Crow Canyon Place for approximately $18 million late last year.

In addition to housing its operations, the district intends to use the property to generate rental income by leasing vacant units to private tenants. Superintendent CJ Cammack described the move as a creative solution to address the district's limited means of generating revenue. To minimize relocation costs, the district utilized donated or existing furniture and performed minor cosmetic updates to the space.

The move involved relocating 101 employees from the previous district offices located in Danville.
