San Ramon Valley Unified School District to Sell Danville Headquarters

The San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) plans to declare its current headquarters at 699 Old Orchard Road in Danville surplus property and put it up for sale. The district's Board of Education will consider the resolution at its meeting on July 28, with the sale aimed first at nonprofit and public‑benefit organizations under a request‑for‑proposals process.

The move follows SRVUSD’s decision to relocate its administration to a new office building on Crow Canyon Place in San Ramon. Superintendent CJ Cammack and Assistant Superintendent Vincent Morales say the relocation is part of efforts to address a persistent budget deficit, with the sale expected to generate revenue for unrestricted funds while the district vacates the Danville site this fall.
