San Romerio Festival and Sadurano ‘Arte sul Colle’ showcase Italian art
The Scandire Passi festival returns to San Romerio in Valposchiavo on 22‑23 August, presenting installations, theatre, music and dance that blend art with the Alpine landscape. Funded by Interreg, the programme includes Pietro Pirelli’s light‑activated “Idropiro” installation, a short‑form “Imbuteatro” performance, and contemporary dance by Marion Baeriswyl and D.C.P., culminating with sunrise‑themed musical pieces by Paolo Novellino.
In Sadurano, the “Arte sul Colle” plein‑air painting event will be held on 25 July at the Parco dei Circoli. Organized by the Associazione Amici di Don Dario and the Acli ‘Il Grottino’ club, the day invites artists and the public to paint the countryside, honour the memory of Don Dario Ciani and promote local heritage. Participants work on supplied canvases, with cash prizes awarded to the top three entries.
Both events aim to foster cultural exchange, community participation and the appreciation of regional landscapes through artistic expression.
