San Roque hosts III Desafío Pinar Extremo obstacle course

More than 300 athletes are participating in the III Desafío Pinar Extremo at Pinar del Rey. This event serves as the third test of the Circuito San Roque Ciudad de los Desafíos 2026.

Organized by the San Roque City Council in collaboration with the Asociación Deportiva Xtreme Natural, the competition features obstacle courses for both adults and minors. The adult circuit spans seven kilometers and includes over 22 obstacles requiring agility, coordination, and climbing skills.

Adult categories include Élite, Starters, Popular, and Pairs. In the Élite category, participants use a colored bracelet system where failing an obstacle results in a five-minute penalty; losing all three bracelets leads to disqualification. Youth categories feature distances of 500 meters for children under seven and 1,000 meters for those aged eight to twelve.
