San Rosendo concludes 2026 Wine Festival in Turquía Estación

The 2026 Wine Festival in the Turquía Estación sector of San Rosendo concluded with positive results. The event aimed to increase visibility for local winemakers, including both emerging producers and established ones following the 2011 rediscovery of the Malbec grape, while strengthening local entrepreneurship.

The festival featured live folklore and music, including performances by groups such as Los Amigos del Buen Lazo, Hijos de mi Tierra, La Combo Lajino, Los Dinos de Chile, Maihuén, and Los Rivales de Chile. Activities included wine tastings led by enologist Katherine Fierro.

Local authorities, including Mayor Rabindranath Acuña, various council members, and regional representatives, participated in the opening ceremony. The event was supported by various sectors to promote the rural area's viticulture and local initiatives.
