San Salvador de Jujuy hosts intercollegiate under-16 volleyball tournament

The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy is supporting an intercollegiate under-16 women's volleyball tournament held at the Municipal Sports Center No. 1 in Parque San Martín. Organized by the Department of Sports of the Ministry of Education, the qualifying stage features nine teams from various educational institutions in the capital.

A unique aspect of the tournament is the integration of both amateur and federated players, allowing students up to 16 years old from clubs affiliated with the Jujuy Volleyball Association to compete together. Government officials noted that the event aims to promote healthy habits and encourage young people to utilize municipal sports spaces.
